UNWOUND: THE STORY

Texas Influence with a Tucson Mix

Unwound was officially formed in early 2019 when a group of talented musicians decided to join a vocalist fresh from Texas.  Bringing his fondness for music from the Texas / Red Dirt music scene, lead vocalist Ricky Wheelington wanted to create something different in the Tucson music scene.  This spawned a creative outpouring from the other members that sets the group apart from other bands in town.  While still playing the country classics that have crowds burning up the dance floor, music from non-mainstream artists is sprinkled into the mix to create a change of pace that the crowd loves.
